JOB TITLE SRR STARTUPTEST ENGINEER br br DUTIES br Provide startuptest engineering services on assigned SRR Project Teams. Support services include design review, analysis, walkdowns, test procedure development and test procedure performance of project modifications. br Startuptest engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR. br MINIMUM EXPERIENCE br Education br HS Diploma with 10-15 yrs of specific background in startup testing OR an AA degree and 8-ten years of background in startup testing OR a BS degree and 5-7 yrs of related work background in startup testing. br br ExperienceSkills br Applicant must demonstrate five 5yrs startuptest engineering background in the nuclear or commercial industry. Applicant must demonstrate capability to maintain certification as a level II test engineer. Applicant must have the expertise to walkdown and perform tests on systems in the field. br Work Hours br A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules including 58s 8 hoursday five days per week, 410s 10 hoursday four days per week, 510s, and a 980s 9 hoursday, five days on week A and four days on week B. Work week excludes SRR holidays. Example duties include br Support detailed phases of testing for a modificationproject, including input to design and construction for facility safety, testability, operability and maintainability. br Develop, review and status project schedules as required for testing activities. br Support Engineering to determine the requirement of Test Acceptance Criteria TAC, General Test Data GTD and Baseline Operating Data BOD criteria for the Test Specification Plan TSP for the systemmodification to be tested. br Develop test procedures, to ensure safe operations for the componentsystem being tested, providing auditable documentation of the test and to meet the criteria of the TSP. br Coordinate testing activities between Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Radiological Controls, Industrial Hygiene, and Operations. br Perform testing in accordance with approved procedures. br Conduct Pre-Test and Shift briefings. br Process test deficiencies and coordinate resolution br Process any non-conformances found using 1Q, Quality Assurance Manual br Develop test summary documents TSD. br Maintain certification as a level II or III Test Engineer as required. br Support Vendor testing and associated activities. This activity may require travel to vendor locations to support this testing or design reviewsplanning meetings. br Review designs to ensure testability in accordance with E7 Engineering Manual and supporting references. br Assist in preparation of operation or maintenance manuals. br Conduct assessments as required per SCD-4 FA-16 Testing, the Standards Qualifications. br Support the completion of MSAs, FSAs, RAs, and ORRs for project work. br Support internal and external audits or assessments as requested. br Support training of Operation and Maintenance personnel on new modifications. br Day to day direction for these tasks will be provided by the Startup Test Lead or designee. Activities shall be performed in accordance with SRSSRR procedures such as 1Q, E7, 5E, and S4 at the direction of the SRR Lead. br SRS will provide on-site office space, computer network support, etc. br DOE clearance not required. br Personnel shall obtain Radiation Worker Training Level two to support assigned duties. br Personnel will have sufficient background in startup testing to obtainmaintain Level II or Level III certification in accordance with SRR S4 Manual Test Procedure qualifications, commensurate with assigned testing duties. brListing originally posted at http
